Day Wise Plan

Day 1: ARRIVE DELHI

Meet assists by our representative at International Airport & transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel

DAY 2: DELHI – SRINAGAR (FLIGHT)

Morning after breakfast transfer to Domestic airport for a spectacular mountain flight to Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir situated at height of 5200 ft above sea level, which is located on the foot of Himalayan Mountains, where tourist enjoy living in houseboats which are anchored on famous Dal Lake.

A Kashmiri warm welcome greets you on arrival from airport and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats by Gondolas (shikara). Later in evening enjoy Shikara cruise on Dal Lake visiting the Floating garden,  back waters of the lake, cruise will go through  canals. Overnight stay hotel / houseboat

Day 3: SRINAGAR -GULMARG

After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) at a height of 8800ft above sea level. Here you will witness the beauty of Nature surroundings of Kashmir set out like a Doll’s village en route stop at few villages to witness the country life of Kashmiris. Gulmarg is used to be a favorite hunt of the British in summers and you will find old fashioned hotels and shops in the village.

Gulmarg has highest 18 holes golf course in the world and has developed into a famous Ski resort. Enjoy gondola ride (if operational) high above the meadows from Gulmarg to Apherwat 10 200 ft and snow covered slopes of Apherwat and Khilanmarg mountain which provide a play ground for optional skiing, tobogganing, pony ride and skating (during the winter months), Return to houseboat.

DAY 4: SRINAGAR

Morning after breakfast, drive up to Shankeracharya Temple dedicated to Shiva 1000 ft above Srinagar City an magnificent view from the top overlooking various lakes of Kashmir and main city of Srinagar, followed by visit to the famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat (Garden of pleas ure) overlooking the crystal clear Emerald green waters of the Dal lake then to Shalimar Garden (Garden of Love) built by Mughal Emperor during Spring until Autumn these gardens are full of flowers. Also pay a visit to Kashmir Famous Hand knotted Silk carpet weaving factory for good bargains. Return to houseboats for lunch.

Afternoon, visit handicraft centers for paper mashie and wood carving factor by shikaras. While you are in Kashmir look for pure hand woven pure Pashmina. Overnight at houseboat / hotel.

DAY 5: SRINAGAR – DELHI-AGRA (FLIGHT/DRIVE)

Wake up early morning to visit Floating market after breakfast enjoy some time on the deck of houseboat and witness the activities around the lake area as the World goes by and can also pick up last minute souvenir . Later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.

Arrive Delhi and proceed to Agra (205 KMS/ 4 – 5 Hrs). Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6: AGRA – JAIPUR

After breakfast tour of World famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan built this Marble monument of love in 1653 in memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The construction work took 22 years to be completed with 20 thousand workers, also visit the Agra Fort, a red sand stone fort built by Akbar the Great in 1565 and completed by grandson Shah Jehan. Also, visit Red Fort. Emperor Akbar in 1569 to commemorate the birth of his Son and later abandoned due to scarcity of water now deserted but still is a state of perfect preservation. Continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 7: JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast take a city tour of The Pink City- Jaipur, visit Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds. It was built in 1799 by Pratap Singh and was a Royal Grandstand for Palace Woman, City Palace, and Visit the Jantar Mantar- Observatory raised in the 18th Century by the Astronomer King.

You will also visit the famous Amber Fort, the Capital of the state for six centuries before Jaipur was built. It is set on a steep hill and the palace is laid down at different levels on hillsides and encircled by fortress. Enjoy the Elephant ride or jeep up to the Fort. Later drive through Pink City and shopping. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 8: AGRA- DELHI (DRIVE)

Morning after breakfast drive 264 km to Delhi (4-5 hrs drive), and after lunch sightseeing tour of Old/New Delhi covering, Jamma Masjid (Biggest Mosque in India),  Photo stop at Red Fort, India Gate-42m high memorial arch is a tribute to the 90,000 Indian Soldiers killed during World War 1 and Afghan war; and visit Qutub Minar 72.5 meter high memorial built by Qutu’d Din in 1199 AD  drive pas Parliament building and Presidential Palace, and shopping in local bazaar.

Later transfer to International airport for flight to back home.
