Udaipur About this sound pronunciation also known as the City of Lakes, is a city, a Municipal Corporation and the administrative headquarters of the Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan in western India.

Udaipur is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. The Guhils (Sisodia) clan ruled the Mewar and its capital was shifted from Chittorgarh to Udaipur after founding city of Udaipur by Maharana Uday Singh. The Mewar province became part of Rajasthan after India became independent.

Day Wise Plan

Day 01 Arrive Delhi TBA

Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Delhi-Ajmer (Shatabdi EXP. ETD: 0605 hrs /  ETA: 1300 hrs) Ajmer – Pushkar 14 kms

Morning after an early breakfast you will be transferred to railway station to board train to Ajmer. Upon arrival further drive to Pushkar Arrive & check in at hotel. In the After noon we will take you to the guided tour of the Pushkar City. Visit Brahma Temple (it is the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is marked by a red spire and over the entrance gateway is a beautiful statue of a Hans or Goose – the celestial carrier of Lord Brahma)

In the evening enjoy the Camel ride to see the beautiful hills and mesmerizing sunset on desert of Pushkar.
Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04 Pushkar surface D: 0900 hrs

Early morning visit picturesque Pushkar Lake that is of immense significance for the follower of Hinduism because of its legendary origins. The entire lake is supposed to be surrounded by 500 temples, 52 palaces, and 52 ghats.

Later drive to Devigarh.On arrival check in at Devigarh Resort.

Devigarh Resort: The 18th century Devi Garh palace in the village of Delwara, forms one of the three main passes into the valley of Udaipur. Devi Garh, is ready for visitors after years of restoration and rebuilding. The Fort palace was conceived as a place where the past meets the future. Day 05 Devigarh surface D:730 hrs

Today, we will take you for a full day guided tour of Udaipur. Enroute visit Eklingji Temple. The temple was built in 734 A.D. by Bappa Rawal. Since that time, Eklingji has been the ruling deity of Mewar rulers. In the later years, it was repaired and modified by various Kings, to clean the remnants of obliteration made by the attacks of Mohammedans.

Arrive Udaipur and proceed to visit Jagdish Temple & The City Palace (The magnificent palace started by Maharana Udai Singh II and completed in a long time lag is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan. Built in glittering granite and marble it majestically towers high on the Pichola Lake. The main gates to the palace are ‘Hathi Pol’,’Bara Pol’ and Tripolia gate’. Many enclosures inside the palace offer good views of the city or the lake) and Saheliyon – Ki- Bari (Built by Maharana Sangram Singh, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden for the Maids of Honour of the queen, is at Saheli Marg on the eastern banks of lake Fateh Sagar. The garden has beautiful fountains, pools with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants in marble. There is a delightful Lotus pool and a sitting room decorated with paintings and glass mosaics too). Also visit Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum,The museum portrays the remarkable collection of over past 44 years, gathered by the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal. To provide a summarized idea of the folk heritage of India, traditional attires, ornaments, miniature paintings and many other art objects are displayed here. Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum of Udaipur definitely requires a visit to closely observe the artistic and culturally rich region of Rajasthan.

In the evening enjoy sun set view through the boat ride at Lake Pichola. The Lake Pichola is adored with the hypnotic view of sunrise and sunset at the time when sunrays fall over the surface of mesmerizing water. The whole environ is covered with the radiant of golden hue that is just brilliant. The tourist visit this spot just to catch the glimpse of gloss that floats through the lake. The reflection of white marvel, the Lake Palace in the scenic water of Pichola is lifetime experience that gives a perfect mirage of another replica stupefaction down the shallow waters. These are some of the rattling moments that you wish to treasure for lifetime.

Post sightseeing drive back to Devigarh. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 06 Devigarh surface /47 kms

Delhi Flight / 9W 2604 D: 0800 hrs/0940 hrs
Morning after an early breakfast you will be transferred to airport to board Flight for Delhi . Upon arrival we will take you to optional sightseeing of Delhi. Later in the evening Departure transfer to International Airport to board your Flight for onward destination.
