A Culinary Tour of Delhi, Agra and Lucknow is a gastronomic journey through India’s diverse cuisine. Starting in Delhi, sample street food like chaat, parathas, and jalebi. In Agra, taste Mughal-style biryanis and the famous Agra petha ( savoury in sweets). And in Lucknow, try biryani and Lucknowi chaat. This tour offers a delicious and immersive experience of India’s diverse flavours and culinary traditions.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Meet and greet services at the airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, we meet in the lobby just for an orientation and briefing about the tour. Then we will go for city tour of Delhi visiting Old Delhi’s major attractions including the Red Fort , Raj Ghat and Gandhi Museum. Try some of Delhi’s famous street cuisine for lunch and explore the old Delhi market by rickshaw. We will also take a heritage walking tour of Food Street, Spice Market and Chandni Chowk.

Explore Paratha Wali Gali, Old Delhi: Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Delhi

Morning after breakfast, we take you on a tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar. On the way, we drive past and photo stops at India gate, President’s Palace and Parliament house.

Later in the afternoon, we take you to a cooking class, learn about traditional Indian food/
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Delhi – Agra

Morning after breakfast, we drove to Agra, on arrival to check in to the hotel.

Post lunch we visited Agra Fort, Food walk takes you to old bazaars, food shops.
In this food walk, your food expert will take you to some of the oldest and most popular food places in Agra city where you’ll taste dishes with recipes which have not changed in centuries.

The cuisines north Indian, Mughlai, Awadhi Street food items from various regions.

Day 5: Agra

This morning after breakfast, we took you to visit the Taj Mahal.
Later we take you for a cooking class where you will learn how to cook non veg, specific Mughlai cuisine.

Day 06: Agra – Lucknow
Today after breakfast, we will drive to Lucknow.
In the evening you will be taken to taste street food nearby your hotel.

Day 07: Lucknow
Today Morning after breakfast, we take you to visit the world’s most unique architecture, ‘Asfi Imambara’. Also see the ‘Rumi Darwaza’ or the Turkish Gate and the Asfi Mosque.

We now reach the Husainabad Complex – The Clock Tower is the highest Clock Tower in Asia and in some ways superior to its counterpart, ‘Big Ben’. Now enter the Babylon of East, The Hussainabad Imambara.

Later in the evening we will reach ‘Chowk’ the oldest marketplace of Lucknow to shop for the unique crafts. We walk in the by-lane of Chowk called ‘Gol Darwaza.

After a walk down this lane we will take a Culinary Walk down the lane adjacent to Akbari Gate. Tasting the best of meat dishes like Tunde Kebabs, Raheem’s Nihari and Mobeen’s Pasanda Kebabs.

Day 08: Lucknow

Today after breakfast, we began our tour with a visit to La Martiniere.

Driving past ‘Chatar Manzil’ – a part of this palace was built by a Frenchman, Claude Martin (as this palace has restricted entry, we can see it from outside from within the car)

We also visit the graveyard to pay our homage to named and unnamed soldiers who gave up their lives in the defence of The Residency

We now break for lunch at a local restaurant.
Later this evening we will visit Kotwara House, abode to the legendary film maker, fashion designer, painter, poet, rather a couple with many feathers in their cap of creativity, Muzaffar & Meera Ali. opportunity to interact with artisans at work. Also enjoy a documentary on textile.

Later in the evening we will be picked up from our hotel to experience Royal Dinner.

Home Cooked Awadhi Dinner Workshop. We start with an orientation session that will deal with the Indian style of cooking and how Awadhi cuisine evolved with times to retain its high position in gastronomy. We will also have an opportunity to meet some local culinary experts and talk to them on the subject of Awadhi Cuisine.
Later back to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 09: Lucknow – Delhi By flight

Post Breakfast we check – out from hotel and transferred to Lucknow airport to catch flight for Delhi (50-minute flying time) . Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will catch your next onward flight back to home.

Note: We will ensure that the street food offered to the clients to taste will be hygienic and up to their standards/taste.
