North and West India Tour Highlights

India is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, most populous country, and the most populous democracy in the world. 

India is a very versatile country & God has given it all types of seasons, high mountains, deep oceans, deserts, dense forests, rain, flora fauna and animals. 

Western part of India is quite different from North India. Hence visiting both parts of India would be a wonderful experience.

Highlights

Delhi: Rikshaw Ride in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid.
Agra: Visit to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Local Market and Ghost city Fatehpur Sikri.
Jaipur: Visited Amber Fort and Hawa Mahal.

Pushkar: Pushkar city is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs.

Udaipur: Visiting Sahelion Ki bari, City palace, Jagdish Temple.

Ahmedabad: Visiting Gandhi Ashram, Sabarmati riverfront, Adalaj Stepwell, Sidi Saiyyad Mosque.

Jamnagar: Bala Hanuman Temple known for its non stop Ramdhun since 1956.

Dwarka: Dwarkadheesh Temple and we visit Gomti Ghat.

Somnath: Visit Somnath Temple.

Diu: Visit St. Paul’s Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort.

Sasan Gir: Visit Sasan Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Crocodile breeding farm, Gir Information center.

Gondal: Visiting Navlakha Palace & Classic and Vintage Car Museum. 

Bhavnagar: Visited Takhteshwar Temple located on the small hillock.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival, meet our representative at IGI airport on flight (Flight details awaited) and transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast. We meet in the lobby just for an orientation and briefing of the tour.

Then we will take you on sightseeing (Old Delhi and New Delhi) which includes a Rikshaw Ride in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid. and places Gandhi Smriti, formerly known as Birla House, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan (Drive Pass) and Qutab Minar.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast, we drove to Agra and checked in at your hotel.

In the afternoon we take a visit to Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), Agra fort and Local market. Agra is a city of epitome of love.

Day 4: Agra – Jaipur

We drove from Agra to Jaipur but first we visited Ghost city Fatehpur Sikri, Afterwards, we proceeded to Jaipur.
Jaipur is a popular tourist destination in India and forms a part of the west Golden Triangle tourist circuit along with Delhi and Agra (240 km).

Day 5: Jaipur

In the morning, we take you for a tour of Amber fort (Here we do not recommend doing Elephant ride but if you wish you are free to do).

Later we take you to a city tour of Jaipur visiting City palace, Observatory The City Palace, and photo stop at Palace of Wind. The Hawa Mahal is a palace in the city of Jaipur, India. Built from red and pink sandstone.

Day 6: Jaipur – Pushkar

This morning after breakfast, we drove from Jaipur to Pushkar and checked in at your hotel.

In the afternoon we take you for a temple tour of Pushkar visiting specifically Brahma temple, Lakeside Pushkar Lake or Pushkar Sarovar.

Pushkar city is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Pushkar has many temples. Most of the temples and ghats in Pushkar are from the 18th century and later.

Pushkar is also significant for its Gurdwaras for  Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh. One of the bathing ghats is called Gobind ghat built by the Sikhs in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh.
Pushkar is famous for its annual fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) featuring a trading fete of cattle, horses and camels.

Day 7: Pushkar – Udaipur

This morning. We drive from Pushkar to Udaipur and check in at your hotel.
In the evening you can go with the driver for dinner or to visit the local market as per your interest.

Day 8: Udaipur

This morning. We take you for a city tour of Udaipur visiting Sahelion Ki bari, City palace, Jagdish temple
In the evening we take you to visit Lake Pichola & Jagmandir with a boat ride. Jag Mandir is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It is also called the “Lake Garden Palace”.

Day 9: Udaipur – Ahmedabad

This morning after breakfast. you will be driven to Ahmedabad and check in at your hotel.

In the afternoon you will be taken for a city tour of Ahmedabad visiting Gandhi Ashram, Sabarmati riverfront, Adalaj Stepwell, Sidi Saiyyad Mosque.

Day 10: Ahmedabad – Kevadia – Ahmedabad

This morning after breakfast. you will be taken to visit the Statue of Unity, The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue, with a height of 182 meters.

After this you will return to Ahmedabad by late evening.

Day 11: Ahmedabad – Jamnagar

This morning after breakfast. you will be driven to Jamnagar and check in at your hotel.

In the evening we take you to Bala Hanuman Temple known for its non stop Ramdhun since 1956 and it is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records.

In the evening you can go with the driver for dinner or to visit the local market as per your interest.

Day 12: Jamnagar – Dwarka

This morning after breakfast. You will be taken on a tour of Jamnagar visiting Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum.

Later we drove to Dwarka and checked in at your hotel.

Day 13: Dwarka – Somnath

This morning after breakfast. we take you to visit Dwarkadheesh Temple and we visit Gomti Ghat. After this drive to Somnath and check in at your hotel.

In the evening if you wish, you can go with the driver for dinner or to visit the local market as per your interest.

Visit Somnath temple, also called Somanātha temple or Deo Patan, is a Hindu temple located in Prabhas Patan, Veraval in Gujarat, India.

Day 14: Somnath – Diu

This morning after breakfast. We take you to visit the very sacred Somnath temple one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The Somnath temple, also called Somanātha temple or Deo Patan, is a Hindu temple located in Prabhas Patan, Veraval in Gujarat, India.

Later, drive to Diu and check in at your hotel.

In the evening we take you to visit St. Paul’s Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort.

Day 15: Diu

This morning after breakfast. If you wish, you can enjoy a variety of water sports which are available at Nagoa Beach.

In the afternoon go for dinner or visit places of your interest.

Day 16: Diu – Sasan Gir

This morning after breakfast. We drive from Diu to Sasan Gir and check in at your hotel.

In the afternoon we take you to visit Gir interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Crocodile breeding farm, Gir Information center. Here you will watch a movie on lion at Gir Information center in the evening.

Day 17: Sasan Gir

This morning and in the afternoon, we took you to visit Asiatic lions inside Gir national park by Jeep.

Day 18: Sasan Gir- Gondal

This morning after breakfast. We drove to Gondal to check in at your hotel.

In the afternoon we take you for a city tour of Gondal visiting Navlakha Palace & Classic and Vintage Car Museum.

Day 19: Gondal -Bhavnagar

This morning after breakfast. We drove to Bhavnagar enroute visiting Palitana Jain temple on the Shatrunjaya Hill. The Palitana temples are the large groups of Jain temples located on Shatrunjaya hills near Palitana in Bhavnagar district, Gujarat.

Day 20: Bhavnagar- Ahmedabad

This morning after breakfast. We visited Takhteshwar Temple located on the small hillock. Later we continue driving to Ahmedabad and check in at your hotel. This well-known temple honoring Shiva features panoramic views of the city below.

In the evening we transfer you to Ahmedabad airport to catch a flight for Delhi.

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, we meet and transfer you to your hotel for check in.

Day 21: Depart Delhi 

Today morning after breakfast, on time you will be transferred to Delhi airport to catch your onward flight (Flight details awaited).
