Day 1 – Arrive Delhi/Kolkata to Flight Dimapur – Drive to Kohima (3 hrs)

➾ Scenic drive through the lush Naga hills to Kohima, the capital.
➾ Evening orientation with your local escort introducing Nagaland’s history, tribes, and customs.
➾ Overnight stay at Kohima Heritage Lodge

 

Day 2 – Kohima & Angami Village Experience

➾ Morning visit to the Kohima War Cemetery and Nagaland State Museum to understand local heritage.
➾ Afternoon excursion to Khonoma Village — India’s first green village.
➾ Walk through traditional Angami houses, terraced farms, and community forest.

Day 4 – Drive to Mokokchung (5–6 hrs) – Ao Tribe Heartland

➾ Scenic drive to Mokokchung, home of the Ao tribe.
➾ En route, stop at Wokha for short village walks and scenic views of rice terraces.
➾ Arrive and settle into a traditional homestay or eco-lodge.

Day 5 – Mokokchung Village Tour & Ao Tribe Interaction

Day 7 – Konyak Tribe Exploration – Longwa Village

➾ Interact with the Angh (chief) and locals known for their tattoos and traditional artistry.

Day 8 – Village-to-Village Cultural Tour
