Day 1: Arrive Bhuj / Kandla — Gateway to the Rann
Your Kutch Tour Package begins with arrival at Bhuj Airport (BHJ) or Kandla Airport (55 km from Bhuj). After a comfortable transfer to your hotel and check-in, spend the afternoon visiting the Smritivan Earthquake Museum a hauntingly beautiful memorial to the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, built into the sacred Bhujiyo Dungar hill. If time permits, visit Madhapar village, one of the wealthiest villages in India where the NRI diaspora has built remarkable architecture. Bhuj itself, founded in 1510, retains its medieval character with atmospheric bazaars, crenelated gateways, and old palaces.
Day 2: Bhuj City Tour → Drive to Dhordo — Rann Utsav Evening
After breakfast, begin a curated Bhuj heritage trail. Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), built in the 18th century by Rao Lakhpatji, showcases an extraordinary fusion of European and Indian decorative arts with its famous hall of mirrors and mechanical water fountains. Adjacent is the dramatic Prag Mahal, designed in Italian Gothic style with a soaring clock tower. After lunch, drive 85 km northwest to Dhordo village the heart of the Rann Utsav festival. Day 3: White Rann at Dawn → Drive to Dholavira — UNESCO Harappan Heritage

The summit offers a sweeping 360-degree panorama over the Rann, and the ancient Dattatreya temple atop the hill adds a spiritual dimension to this dramatic landscape. Descend and drive back toward Bhuj, making stops at two legendary Kutch artisan villages. Ajrakhpur village is the living home of centuries-old Ajrakh resist block printing watch master craftsmen create intricate indigo and madder-dyed textiles.
