After the boat ride, we will visit these temple

  • Kashi Vishwanath Temple:

which is the most famous temple of Varanasi, also known as the Golden Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was constructed in the year 1780 by the Maratha Monarch, Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore.

  • Tulsi Manas Mandir:

This temple has great historical and cultural importance in Hinduism since the ancient Hindu epic Ramcharitmanas was originally written at this place by Hindu poet-saint, reformer and philosopher Tulsidas in the 16th century.

  • Durga Mata Mandir:

Durga temple, also known as the Monkey Temple (because of the presence of a huge number of monkeys), is situated in Durga Kund, Varanasi. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Durga. It was built in the 18th century.

The statue of Goddess Durga is not human-made; it appeared on its own in the temple. Millions of Hindu devotees go to the Durga temple on Navratri and other propitious occasions and pray to the Goddess Durga to complete their wishes.

  • Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir:

It is believed that the temple has been built on the very spot where Tulsidas had a vision of Hanuman. This temple has the unique distinction of having Lord Hanuman facing his Lord Ram, whom he worshipped with selfless devotion.

  • Baba Kaal Bhairav Temple:

Kaal Bhairav is believed to be the Kotwal (Chief police officer) of Creation; everyone who wants to exist in Creation(even if Gods) needs to take his permission to exist. He is also believed to be the Kotwal of “Sati pind” and without his permission, no one can touch the “Sati pind”. Kaal Bhairav protects the devotees from all the problems. As per popular belief, Kaal Bhairav is considered to be the protector of the city.

Return to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, explore Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage site near Varanasi, known for being the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon.
