The palace owns a share of enriching paintings and beautiful temples of deities of Bhagvati, Shiv, and Krishna.

  • Indo-Portuguese museum

This museum sports a beautiful amalgamation of the Indian and Portuguese culture and architecture. Established by the former Bishop of the city, Joshep, the museum is divided into different wings of treasure, cathedral, possession, civil life, and furniture.

  • Hill Palace

Tourists who are keen to explore the relics of this city of Kochi, when it was under the reign of its King, should head on to the Hill Palace heritage museum. The palace comprises of 49 buildings and was built during 1865. Its beautiful manicured gardens and outer façade will be a treat to the eyes.

  • Try the Chinese Fishing Nets

One of Kochi’s most popular sights, the fishing nets were brought to this city by the Chinese emperor Kublai Khan in the 14th century. The local fisherman would show you the way to use it and you can even enjoy the morning catch from the fishmongers and have it cooked at the nearby shack while you admire the sunset.

You can plan to visit the elephant training center at Kodanad, a small riverside village. Here you can lend a hand to the trainers and wash and play with the elephants.
