Ranthambore National Park
Famous for the iconic Ranthambore National Park, the terrain of Ranthambore features a blend of lush forests and mighty hills. Ranthambore draws tourists from all over the world mainly due to the tiger population in its national park and the majestic Ranthambore Fort which is standing strong even to this day.
Best time to visit Ranthambore:
Ranthambore experiences the climatic conditions typical of a desert. Summers are dry and hot, and monsoon expects meager rainfall giving no respite from the heat. But during winters, the temperature turns chilly and pleasant and thus allows the tourists to explore the outdoor tourist attractions without getting dehydrated owing to the intense heat. Best time to visit Ranthambore is between October to March. The best time for Tiger sighting in the jungle is, however, April – June when the weather is hot, and the tigers are seen near the water bodies in the jungle.

Ranthambore National Park
One among the best national parks of the country, over the year it has turned into a safe reserve for the Tigers. Built-in the ruins of a majestic fort, it presents exotic flora and fauna to the visitors. But it is not only a mere wildlife destination, but it also does narrate the story of the glorious past of the town.
Ranthambore Fort
Situated within the premises of the national park, it has become a famous landmark over the years. Built-in 944AD under the reign of the Chauhan Dynasty, the mansion stands strong over a hill of height 700ft. It has also taken its position into the list of Hill Forts of Rajasthan, declared by UNESCO. A few decades back, this site used to serve as a royal hunting reserve. But since the 1950s it has been turned drastically to be a part of the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary’ to protect the endangered wildlife.
Trinetra Ganesh Temple
You will come across this temple comprising of all the deities of the family of Lord Ganesha inside the Ranthambore Fort. It was built by King Hammer, who was helped by Lord Ganesha during a crisis and therefore he decided to pay his tribute by building the temple which is one of the oldest in Rajasthan.
